On July 2, 2013 a press release on our Cardio Simulators was released by the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center.
Below is a portion of the release from the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center.

Director of the Pediatric Cardiology department of the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center, Dr. Isao Shiraishi, has been vital in the creation of the real, detailed veins and inner workings of replica hearts created by Kyoto Shisaku Net's key company, crossEffect.

Distribution, sale and the use of these replica hearts as training devices have been approved. A press conference will be held to provide an overview as well as information on future plans.

This replica heart uses stereolithography technology involving a laser being shot at a special liquid to slowly create detailed shapes, as well as a special resin and vacuum casting techniques in its production.

With the inner heart recreated at a level of precision and accuracy found nowhere else in the world, and due to the use of a soft resin, these replica hearts can be cut and examined as if they were real hearts, for use in training and as an educational tool for students and young doctors.
